2 Upcoming Opportunities: Discussion Group & 9/15 Special Event!
Happy summer, everyone! This month marks the halfway point between ThinkWell 2023 and ThinkWell 2025, and we are already busy planning and securing speakers for next June. Meanwhile, we have 2 exciting opportunities to tell you about.
Opportunity #1: A ThinkWell Podcast Discussion Group Is Starting!
No, we’re not starting a ThinkWell podcast … but we ARE starting a podcast discussion group! We plan to meet monthly to discuss a podcast on some sort of current apologetics/worldview topic. Our soft launch is this Sunday, June 23, at 6:30 p.m. at CrossLife. Come if you’d like to join, or even if you’d just like to learn a little more. We will decide on our first podcast to listen to, discuss what the group will be about, and look forward to our hard launch (first official meeting) August 18.
We plan to meet the third Sundays of the month at 6:30 p.m. at CrossLife, though we may occasionally change our location (if needed) to a home. The group is primarily intended for adults (22+), especially parents of ThinkWell students, alumni of ThinkWell, and any other interested adults from the community. It will be super relaxed, not overly academic, and purely for the purposes of staying alert, discerning, and encouraged.

Opportunity #2: SAVE THE DATE: “Dealing with Doubt” with Paul Copan, Sunday, Sept. 15
Paul Copan, a prolific author, wonderful professor/teacher and speaker, and mentor to many young people, will be in town for the Engage International Conference, and he has graciously agreed to come do a special session JUST for our ThinkWell community. It will be on the topic of “Dealing with Doubt,” particularly in the context of the presence of evil and suffering in the world. It promises to be a deeply helpful event, with Q&A to follow his 2-part talk. The event is free to attend, and no registration is required.
Please plan to come Sunday evening, September 15, at 6:30 p.m., at CrossLife, and invite others as well (including your church family, friends, and neighbors).
More on this event and on Paul here.
Note: We also highly encourage you to register for the Engage conference that same weekend to hear more from Paul and other speakers, including Greg Koukl! Register here.
