WHAT: A free event hosted by the ThinkWell Conference, featuring a 2-part talk by Dr. Paul Copan:

WHEN: Sunday, September 15, 2024 - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

WHERE: CrossLife Community Church, Charlottesville, VA

WHO: All ages welcome from middle school up (starting ~age 14 at parental discretion)

WHY: The poet John Donne wrote, “Doubt wisely.” However, many today doubt unwisely, especially when it comes to navigating the problem of evil. How can the Christian faith train us to wisely process our doubts?

Speaker Bio

Paul Copan

Paul Copan, PhD, is the Pledger Family Chair of Philosophy and Ethics at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. A former president of the Evangelical Philosophical Society, he is an author or editor of 40+ books, including Is God a Moral Monster? and Is God a Vindictive Bully? He contributes to the Worldview Bulletin and many journals and will be in Charlottesville in connection with the Engage International Conference.
